Volunteer as a Rainbows Facilitator
If you would like to learn more about becoming a Rainbows Facilitator, we would love to hear from you! Facilitators are caring individuals who guide Rainbows participants in their peer support group through a 12 -week program.
All facilitators are screened and receive specialized training by the Program Director, Isabel VanGrootheest. Our team of facilitators are completely voluntary and have assisted with the program from one term to 25+ years! We welcome College and University students in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, as well as professionals, mothers or fathers who have experience and a great deal of compassion. No experience is necessary as a Grief Facilitator.
