As Rainbows is a peer support group program, we need to have enough participants for a small group to start. If your child is registered and there are not enough children to start a group, we will inform you ahead of time.
We also offer parent support groups at the same time, please register if you’re interested. Please note: you need to have children in the program in order to participate in the parent group.
School Programs
Many schools in School District 68 offer the Rainbows program. Please contact your child’s school’s Principal, Counsellor, or Child and Youth Care worker to register, they will know who coordinates the Rainbows program at their school.
Community Program LOCATION
Christ Community Church:
2221 Bowen Road, Nanaimo ( Located across from Quality Foods).
Programs start at the end of September and again in January or February each year.
